Reflection Sessions

A quiet space to be heard.

Our Reflection Sessions are gentle, one-on-one conversations for people who need space to talk things through — without advice, fixing, or pressure to arrive at answers.

This is a place to pause, to speak freely, and to be met with care.

What Reflection Sessions Are

These sessions are reflective, not clinical.

I listen attentively, reflect back what I hear, and hold space for whatever you bring — whether that’s confusion, exhaustion, grief, uncertainty, or simply the need to say things out loud.

There is no agenda, no problem-solving, and no expectation to “make progress.”

 

The focus is presence, clarity, and honoring your lived experience, at your own pace.

Who These Sessions Are For

Reflection Sessions may be helpful if you:

  • feel overwhelmed or emotionally tired

  • are carrying a lot and feel unheard or misunderstood

  • are navigating a difficult or uncertain season

  • live with chronic illness or long-term stress

  • want to talk without being advised, judged, or rushed

  • need space to think aloud and make sense of things

 

This space is inclusive and welcoming. You don’t need to explain or justify what you’re feeling. 

 

You don’t need to be in crisis. You don’t need to have the right words. You’re welcome to come exactly as you are.

What to Expect in a Session

  • 45-minute one-on-one session

  • Audio-based (video optional, not required)

  • A calm, non-judgmental pace

  • Gentle reflection and attentive listening

  • Space for silence if needed

 

You don’t need to prepare extensively.
You don’t need to know where the conversation will go

Boundaries & Safety

Reflection Sessions are not therapy, counseling, or crisis support.

 

They are reflective, non-advising conversations that create space for listening and clarity.

This space does not include diagnosis, treatment, or clinical guidance. If someone is experiencing acute distress or feels unsafe, additional professional or emergency support may be needed.

The intention of these sessions is presence — not fixing, directing, or resolving.

Everything shared is held with care and confidentiality.

Accessibility

This space is meant to be accessible and supportive.

If filling out forms or writing responses feels difficult for any reason, we can go through things together verbally or use voice notes instead.

About The Facilitator

A Note on How This Space Is Held

These sessions are offered by Deanna Fontaine. Along with lived experience, Deanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences, which shapes how she listens, notices patterns, and holds conversations with care and ethical boundaries.
